I find that the way you can keep a local repository of your own with git is a great feature. Makes patch making hell of a lot easier since you can make a fix or mod and commit it locally then go into your local repo history and make a patch of it without having to exclude all the previous changes like with svn.

I completely understand why you kept svn for so long, i had a hard time with git at first because im mainly working with l2j's high five branch but i think now its worth the change.

I personally don't like Github at all.

It will create more trouble , because most people are not used to it.

Never change a running system. Cool

Moreover, let me point out that project is quite inactive and i'm taking the final steps to completely stop scheduled development and leave Bug Reports section open.
All in all, i'm trying to say that due to low activity, we will have no benefits if I move project to Github now.
However, in case of creating a new branch (e.g. C5 but the chances of starting it are very low), i will consider Github as an option.

    Thanks.

Well project was always not very active anyways, except you and we few contributers.
But that didn't stop it from growing and getting better. Smile

There are tons of forks out there. (acis for example, but thats INT.)
But none are keepin stuff clean and have a nice community like we have here.
Besides that ,there are no other good Chronicle 4 projects worth using.

Sad to hear you planing to stop development sooner or later.
Its your decision of course if you have no time left.

    About Github...
-It will be harder to compare stuff. (Only through eclipse)
-99% of server owners here are using a svn client (like TortoiseSVN) to check updates/add fixes.
    -I never liked it. king

    Best wishes.
